Vera, true to her name derived from the Latin Verus meaning ‘true’ and ‘sincere’, has a passion for uncovering deeper truths. She understands that her vision, like that of any human, is imperfect and requires spectacles and magnifying glasses to see clearly. Despite knowing that she will be scrutinised during this process, she bravely pursues the unvarnished truth which she holds sacred.
Currently, illusions, projections and blind spots are causing confusion in your perception of reality. Manipulation and the hidden agendas of those involved can further obscure the issue. Vera does not cling to rigid ideas or protect and flatter her self-image. She believes that challenging convictions is essential for gaining a better understanding of the real situation. Often, we tell ourselves stories that protect our egos and absolve us, yet only raw self-examination provides insights that help us progress. Similarly, we sometimes need to wade through the beautiful narratives of others, question them sharply and peel back the layers to reveal something we can work with – something true. The rest is mere vanity like blusher and concealer.
The truth is always complex and shifts with different perspectives. Put yourself in others’ shoes. Blind spots will only remain blind if you do not examine them with an open mind. Change your perspective in a situation so that they come into your field of vision. Put yourself in someone else’s position, truly stand there in your mind, and look again.
Vera’s message is that something or someone is clouding this situation with layers within or outside of you causing you to lose your grip on reality. She wishes to remind you that all the information you need is within your reach, but it is crucial to strip away any veiling.
